Why we’re called Porch Light Studios.

A porch light is a small, generous gesture. It says you’re welcome here, we’ve been expecting you. It’s reliable. It’s on when you need it. It doesn’t try to be flashy — it just does the job, evening after evening, year after year.

That’s what we think a small business website should be. Not a bells-and-whistles billboard. Not a tech demo. A steady, welcoming front door to your business that’s on when your customers go looking for you — which, increasingly, is the first thing they do.

We’re based in Cleburne, Texas. We shop at the same stores you do. We eat at the local restaurants. We know what the square looks like at sunset, and we know that a Dallas agency charging $5,000 for a website doesn’t understand the difference between a barbershop in Cleburne and a barbershop in Plano.

Every business on the square, every contractor working out of a truck, every shop on Henderson Street — they deserve a website that loads fast, looks good on the phone in their customer’s pocket, and doesn’t cost the price of a used truck. That’s why we built the studio the way we did: fixed prices, no upsells, you own everything when we’re done.

But every site is reviewed, refined, and launched by real people who care about the outcome. We don’t ship anything we wouldn’t be proud to put our name on. And we don’t take a project we can’t do well.
